Built in the 1800’s, this almost two century old one-room schoolhouse is now the home of the Tree of Life Christian Bookstore. Tree of Life carries new and used books, Bibles, study helps, music and videos, gifts, local crafts, and supplies for children, youth, and adult classes.
This out-of-the-way bookstore is centrally located in the heart of the North Country and welcomes you to its peaceful corner for reading pleasure and spiritual growth. Come by soon to visit, have a cup of coffee, find that special book, and get refreshed.

Classes, Workshops & Singing
Once a month Tree of Life is hosting an Old-Time Gospel Sing-Along. The sing-alongs are on Fridays from 6:30-8:30 and our schedule for the spring will be April 12, May 10, and June 14. We invite you to join us and sing along with those Old-Time Gospel Songs. The bookstore will also be open in case you are shopping for that special Bible, book, or gift. Refreshments will be served, too.
The next workshop will be held Saturday May 3 from 10:00-11:30. Sharon Bastille will share her "Apron of Love" that helps women in relationships with husbands and children. It will also be encouraging to grandparents. Call 315-261-4203 for more information.
Receiving Used Books
Dick will receive used Christian books on the days we are open or by appointment. He will go through the books while you wait or shop. Our policy is to give a voucher to be used in the bookstore at your convenience and any books can be taken with you if Tree of Life is not able to use them. Thank you for wanting to recycle books for others to enjoy.
